When was the Ferrari company born?

The Ferrary’s story officially begins in 1947 when the first car built under the Ferrari marque , the 125 S, drove through the historic factory gates on Via Abetone Inferiore in Maranello.

The Prancing Horse symbolizes exclusivity, performance and quality all over the world.

Where is the Ferrari museum located?

The Maranello Museum tells the Ferrary story by delving deep into the Prancing Horse’s extraordinary roots and taking visitors on a magnificent journey via its most famous and successful F1 cars, legendary sports prototypes and GTs, and, of course, the road cars that have set the benchmark for the entire car industry. The museum is located in Maranello, (Modena), Italy, via Dino Ferrari 43. Rear parking, via Giuseppe Soli 101.

All year round except for 25 December and 1 January from 10.00 - 18.00 (April - September 09.30 - 19.00)

  

What to do at the Ferrari museum?

1) exclusive shuttle bus tours to the Fiorano track and along the Viale Enzo Ferrari boulevard in the factory complex.

A museum guide will also discuss the various characteristics of the Ferrari track where the Prancing Horse has carried out all its competition and road car tests since 1972. Likewise the Ferrari Campus, the heart of the complex where all the Prancing Horse cars are built. Equally interesting is the historic part of the factory which has been meticulously preserved, not least the factory entrance which dates back to 1947.

2) simulators The semi-professional simulators are available to give visitors a taste of the exhilaration of driving a Prancing Horse F1 single-seater during their time at the Ferrari Museums in Maranello and Modena. They will also have a choice of some of the world’s most famous circuits: Monza, Barcelona, Silverstone, Imola, Nürbürgring, Zandvoort, SPA Francorchamps and Mugello.

Also interesting is the Hall of Victories, an amphitheater with fan-shaped Ferrari F1 world champions from 1999 to 2008 with around more than 110 Trophies and the 9 original helmets of the World Champion drivers.

The Museum is a structure organized in thematic areas dedicated to Formula One, Sports and Sport-Prototype cars, and the world of Grand Touring Roads. Thematic aspsitions are periodically followed one after the other, dedicated to the most varied issues related to history, people, the territory, and everything that surrounds the Ferrari world.
